Our Oceanfront–Community Dialogues, Kyle Touhey
As mentioned in a recent blog post, the Squamish Oceanfront Development Corporation was a sponsor of the Canadian National Championships and the West Coast Open of Kiteboarding. The event was held over the past weekend, August 20–22. On the Friday of the event we shot the first of our new interview series—Our Oceanfront–Community Dialogues—with local kiteboarder and race director for the Squamish Windsports Society, Kyle Touhey. Kyle gave us a further understanding of the sport of kiteboarding, kiteboard racing and the sport and it's progress on the Squamish Oceanfront.
