Peninsula Land Owners Collaborative - PLC
The PLC is a working group of the three peninsula landowners participating in the District planning process:
- Squamish Oceanfront Development Corporation (SODC) - Created by the District of Squamish to manage the land owned by the District as a model sustainable oceanfront development.
- BCR Properties
- Mamquam Ocean Channel Developments Ltd. (MOCD) / Westmana
Inside Edge
Inside Edge is a Squamish Knowledge Based Industry Group that meets periodically to discuss issues and ideas. Members of this group have been instrumental in helping shape the KBI vision for the Squamish Oceanfront and also represent potential future users of the Work Place.
Squamish Nation
The full potential of the Squamish Oceanfront will only be enhanced by direct participation of the Squamish Nation in ways that lead to success for the respective and joint communities.
Governmental
Certain aspects of the Squamish Oceanfront development plan that promote the creation of employment, tourism, parks and the remediation of environmental contamination are expected to attract interest from senior levels of government.
Arts Council
With its myriad member arts groups the Squamish Arts Council is the recognized umbrella organization representing all others in helping to plan the Art, Culture and Heritage aspects of the Squamish Oceanfront.
