Arts and Culture
The vision for the Squamish Oceanfront contemplates an ongoing partnership with the arts community.
The very first stage includes providing temporary use of an existing building to establish and incubate an arts presence on the peninsula. The final phase contemplates the completion of a performing arts venue. In between there are numerous additional opportunities to incorporate arts, culture and heritage elements and practitioners into the evolving landscape, including, but not limited to, a Squamish Nation Longhouse, public art, artists studios, design competitions, etc.
